This is the reason when you hear thunder, to go inside. This lightning is about 3 to 5 miles in front of the storm which makes it very dangerous. This lightning bolt is about between  1 and 3 miles in front of the camera. These thunderbolts are easily heard 20 to 30 mile away. This is not that common when you have powerful lightning (and these were powerful strikes) with no rain or a close storm.

The video feed is 56k(really 33k) and 320 X 240 1 fps.
We put a new camera online which gives you crystal clear view now(almost).
Now you can see the cell towers lights at night.
New encoder and new machine gives you now a clear video almost the same as the input video.
